Fort Forno is a beautiful stone coastal fortress located in picturesque Barbariga, built by the Austrian navy in 1904 to protect its main port.
It is built of ring-shaped concrete. Over time, the fortress collapsed, but it was apparently surrounded by high stone walls and loopholes. Apart from history lovers, architecture lovers will also take care of it, because the hill on which it is located offers a beautiful view of Rovinj, Barbariga, Fazhana and Pula.
