Dragonera Beach

Dragonera is a beautiful wild beach, nesting in the landscape of rocks, pine trees and archaeological sites.

Its terrain is part pebbled and part rocky, at times rugged and often indented, with plenty of trees for natural shade and grassy areas for rest and sitting. The large rocks that dive into the sea are often flat and make a great impromptu sunbathing platforms. The sea here is transparent and pristine and as such ideal for snorkeling, especially since these waters are rich with flora and fauna, fish in particular.

The view from the beach goes all the way to Brijuni islands, as well as the open sea, so sunsets are particularly lovely when viewed from this location. While there are no amenities on this beach you won’t have trouble finding a cafe or a restaurant in vicinity. A perfect place for all those who prefer the quietness of wilderness to crowds and summer noise, with the added bonus of a watching the sunset from the ancient Roman remains.
