Die Kirche St. Rocco in Primoshten wurde erstmals 1553 als Kirche des Heiligen Spyridon und der Muttergottes der Barmherzigkeit erwähnt. Im Jahr 1680 wurde sie erweitert und dem heiligen Rocco geweiht, als Dank für die Beendigung der Pestepidemie. Zahlreiche Gläubige kommen jedes Jahr am 16. August, dem Fest des Heiligen Rocco, hierher, um für Schutz vor verschiedenen Krankheiten zu beten.

I loved taking a ride around the place and enjoying the italian delicacies, and in the evening the church was well lit and amazing photos

Immaculate little church near the sea with rich historical story written outside the church that was fascinating. Peaceful and spiritual moments.

My wife and I toured this beautiful church in July 2018. It was a very old building and well maintained. We were able to tour inside and talk with a priest who showed us different features of the church and told us some history. We were then able to tour the grounds which were large, quiet, and covered with beautiful flowers
