Church of St. Nicolas in the bay of Murtar in Jezera was built in the 15th century by fishermen and sailors in honor of their heavenly protector. It was renovated in 2011. The Society of Sailors Jezera was founded on May 10, 1911. On this occasion, every year on that date, decorated boats arrive here for a Mass and accompanying program.
