Saint Isidore was appointed patron of the island of Cres, even though he was of Spanish origin. Church of St. Izidora is one of the oldest churches on the island of Cres that have managed to survive to this day. Slightly mysterious, it is located in the narrow streets in the old town of Cres. The church was built in the 12th century, and the oldest bell it has today is from the 14th century. The interior of the church mostly dates from the 15th century.
