St. George is the patron saint of the town and the island of Pag, and the church that bears his name began to be built as far back as 1465. The style in which it was built corresponds to the Renaissance, and the church itself is elongated, rectangular in shape with a square apse. Today, the church serves only as an exhibition space, although on the feast of the patron saint, St. George, a mass is held in it.
