Immediately behind the Shibenik Cathedral is the beautiful church of Sv. Barbara, where a small but really worth seeing collection of sculptures and paintings from the 14th to 18th centuries is located. Built in the mid-1600s on the site of an earlier building, this single-nave church is notable for its unique facade with irregularly shaped openings and a statue of St. Nicholas of Bonin of Milan from the 15th century. The interior boasts two unique altars: one from the original church and the other, which was built later but designed to complement the first.
