The Church of St. Chrysogonus in Shibenik is a Romanesque building from the 12th century. It is the oldest preserved sacral building in the city. Until World War II, it was used for worship, and during the war, it was severely damaged. After the renovation, it became an exhibition space, and since 1996 it is open under the name Sveti Krshevan Gallery.

We enjoyed visiting St. Chrysogonus in Zadar, Croatia. It was so beautiful and had a very interesting history. While we were there, we took a tour of the church, visited the museum, and spent time walking around the grounds. We highly recommend adding this great attraction to your Croatian vacation itinerary!

The roman design and architecture never dissapoints, the church was literally bright and everyone who was there became happy without reason
I attended one of the numerous exhibition events that take place in this location and learnt alot about the community.
