The bronze monument to the Brinje miners is the work of the academic sculptor Kosta Angelija Radovanija. The miners from Brinje are well known as the builders of many roads and tunnels throughout Europe, breaking through tunnels with mines from Tierra del Fuego to Siberia and, therefore, known all over the world.
