While the Lovrechina Bay is famous for its beach, it is equally so for its rich archaeological site.

It has the remains two different time periods and cultures attached to them: the Roman and the Early Christian. Particularly important are the remains of the Basilica of St. Lawrence, dated to the 5th and 6th centuries. The northern side of this location is adorned with a cross-shaped baptistery with the ciborium resting on four pillars. The remains are visited by devotees every year, on the Day of St. Lawrence, August 10.
