Zadar is the capital of northern Dalmatia, with about 75,000 inhabitants. Best known for its Old Town, located on a peninsula that is entirely pedestrian, the city has many Roman and other beautiful sights - some quite modern - and it is a pleasure to visit them all. Zadar is an atmospheric weather machine and open - air museum. Here you will find some of the most beautiful monuments of architecture and cultural heritage of the eastern Adriatic coast. The city is also very easy to reach, whether flying from other parts of Europe (it has its own airport) or by bus from other destinations in Croatia. There are also domestic flights to the city airport from other places in Croatia. This city is truly charming and you won't regret spending time here.

The beauty of the Queen Jelan Park was so chilling. The different species of plants displayed the Dalmatian flowers. It had such an aesthetic value. I also cited the Zadar market and I bought several souvenirs

Zadar is known for its many beautiful historical churches. The Cathedral of St. Anastasia was so captivating. The Romanesque style of this church was so spectacular. I also visited the Church and monastery of St. Mary it is really ancient but in good condition.

The Church of St. Donatus in this location is a monumental building that I loved touring. I loved the incorporation of Romanesque architectural style in its construction. I also learned that it was constructed in the 8th century and was dedicated to Bishop Donatus in the 15th century.
