Na sat vremena od Splita i Dubrovnika, gradić Opuzen smjestio se u prekrasnoj regiji južne Dalmacije. Ime je dobio po tvrđavi "Fort Opus", koju je izgradila Republika Venecija 1684. godine. Dio njezinih ruševina i danas je ostao do danas i priča priču o davnim vremenima.Smješten 12 kilometara uzvodno od ušća rijeke Neretve, Opuzen leži na strateškom položaju. Već u 14. stoljeću Republika Ragusa, suverena republika sa središtem u gradu Dubrovniku, održavala je glavna tržišta soli i drugih trgovina u ovom malom gradu. Danas Opuzen, kao i mnogi mali gradovi u Hrvatskoj, gubi puno mladih ljudi emigrirajući u veće gradove ili odlazeći u inozemstvo. Nakon godina studija ili rada izvan kuće, često im nedostaje razlog ili prilika za povratak.

I was throwing a birthday party for my kid and the beach was the best place, it could accommodate a number of people and also the bouncing castle. The kids loved the whale talk and the turtle race games. We had so much fun

I was in fire need of an active vacation. I visited this place and enjoyed bike riding and hiking. The scent from the greenery was refreshing and cool. I had a great vacation here.

The history of the place is fascinating and we had the opportunity of getting to learn of the history of the place on our visit to the place. We visited the various ruins and ancient fortress that tells of the interesting story of the ancient times. Great place to visit and enjoy of the superb things.

Ston has great nature parks to visit with your family. I visited one of the nature parks with my family and enjoyed watching and feeding wildlife. My kids didn't want to leave the place. Its so beautiful.

I never thought that I will love this place.I really enjoyed wind surfing with my friends. The temperatures there are just okay for a stay.

I really enjoyed the boat tours and water sports. I got a chance to make new friends who taught me how to play well. Opozen is a place I would consider revisiting.
