Lumbarda blick auf eine reiche Geschichte zurück, die in mehr als zwei Jahrtausenden alten schriftlichen Dokumenten überliefert ist. In der Vergangenheit war Lumbarda ein Reiseziel für die Bischöfe und Adligen von Korčula.Heute ist es ein Ort für einen Urlaub am Strand auf der Insel Korcula. Der kleine Ort, der nur sechs Kilometer östlich der Stadt Korcula liegt, befindet sich in einer ruhigen Bucht mit zwei Sandstränden außerhalb der Stadt. Der größte Sandstrand ist Przina, 1 km südöstlich des Dorfes. In der Nähe befindet sich der schöne Bilin Zal. Beide Strände sind ruhig und seicht und daher ideal für einen Familienurlaub.

Been to Lumbarda township thrice and any time I want escape the crowded town and a time for myself I always opt for the seaside of this city. its comfortingly traditional

My family and i really love strolling on the alley lined with cypress trees which leads to a stairway scalling the hill offering an excellent view of the environs.
