Lokvičići su općina koja se nalazi u Splitsko-dalmatinskoj županiji u blizini grada Imotskog. Lokvičići svoje ime dobivaju po starom plemenu Lokvičić, a sastoje se od nekoliko sela. Sigurno smješteni između visokog Biokova i Zavelima, sa svojim brežuljcima i pašnjacima Lokvičići su gotovo oduvijek bili privlačni za život ljudi, što potvrđuju i brojni povijesni ostaci: stećci iz 12 stoljeća i stara rimska cesta. U blizini Lokvičića se nalaze čak tri prekrasna jezera Mamića jezero (Lokvičićko jezero), Knezovića jezero, i Galipovac. Samim time, ovo malo mjesto može vas privući svojim prirodnim ljepotama.

We walked through the old Roman Road with my friends as we explored the ancient remains such as stecak remains found here. We toured the three lakes and was fascinated by the crystal clear waters that magnificently dazzled when the sun rays illuminated on the water. It was an awesome to be in a village of kind and welcoming people.

We visited this place and we were amazed by the beauty of the hills and untouched vegetation. The remains of ancient tombs and the old Roman road were amazing sites. We walked to the lake where we enjoyed boating and swimming. The tour was with the while.

I would describe it as a place full of natural beauty, a visit here from experience lives one appreciating nature in all its glory. In addition to the beauty of the place, the different historical remains in the area make it an interesting place to visit. From an old Roman road to some tombstones from the 12th Century, it is a nice place to visit and just enjoy.
