Lokve se nalaze u Gorskom kotaru, na pola puta između gradova Delnica i Fužina.Uz selo protječe malena rječica Lokvarka, a u neposrednoj blizini nalazi se i poznato Lokvarsko jezero zbog kojeg sve više putnika skreće sa glavnoga puta.Iako je Lokvarsko jezero umjetnog karaktera, savršeno se uklopilo u prirodni okoliš visokih crnogoričnih šuma pa tako predstavlja zanimljivu i popularnu turističku atrakciju te je jedno od omiljenih turističkih atrakcijama onima željnima odmora u prirodi ali i ljubitelja športa i rekreacije. Svakako preporučamo najam kajaka kojim možete obići cijelo jezero.Područje Lokava isprepleteno je i brojnim stazama za šetnje. Dolazite li automobilom, nemojte zaobići prekrasan vidikovac uređen iznad Lokvarskog jezera koji će vas oduševiti. Ugledat ćete prekrasnu panoramu: jezero okruženo crnogoričnom šumom u čijoj se pozadini uzdiže Risnjak.Staza oko Lokvarskog jezera duga je nevjerojatnih 17 kilometara i obilježavaju je makadam, šumski puteljci i asfalt. Sa obiju strana jezera postoje mnogobrojne staze i šumske ceste koje će vam omogućiti da istražite svaki dio ovog prekrasnog planinskog područja.

Lokve village is a great place to visit ;the Lokvarsko river that flows along the village gives it a different ranking, a very serene view. I was fascinated to see how a number of people opted to use the water transport at lake Lokvarsko than the mainland. It's my happy place.

I rented a kayak and with my able tour guide we kayaked on the lake. Although the lake has artificial features, the coniferous forests around it beautified the place even more, the greenery was incredible. I loved the experience.

I needed a get away from work and as a hiking lover this place was an answered prayer. I walked long the marked walking trails to the mountain area and the chirping birds and the quiet surrounding was good for meditation. I had a great me time.

This was the best place I visited this year. Being a lover of nature, I enjoyed long walks around the lake and later rented a kayak to help me explore the river. The cool area around the river was refreshing.

The forest gives a serene environment that caught our attention and we went for a hike around the forest. Mountainous area that gives scenic views that are remarkable. The activity all through was awesome with a tour around some wonderful places like the river and the lake too.

I was looking for a vacation in nature in combination with sports and recreation and when i found this place, i was elated. I rented a kayak at an affordable price then toured the entire lake. It was therapeutic to take a walk through the trail around Lokvarsko Lake which allowed me to explore every part of this beautiful area.
