Otok Krapanj
Otok Krapanj je najmanji i najmanje naseljen od svih otoka šibenskog arhipelaga. Zapravo je Krapanj u osnovi ravna kamena ploča u moru (najviša točka visoka je samo 7 metara na 0,4 kv. km. otoku). Zapadni dio otoka je šumovit, a istočni dio sadrži malo selo Krapanj.Tradicionalna industrija na otoku Krapnju okuplja i prerađuje spužve koje su stoljećima okupirale otok. Zbog toga su ovdje otvorili i zanimljiv muzej spužvi. Već u 15. stoljeću Krapanj je bio utočište za izbjeglice iz turske okupacije. Iz tog razdoblja postoji franjevački samostan i crkva. Samostan vrijedi posjetiti zbog renesansnog klaustra i slike Francesca da Santacrocea.Na otok svaki sat vozi brod iz Brodarice, malog sela osam kilometara južno od Šibenika.

The monastery in this Island was so lovely. It was a Franciscan monastery. It was well decorated and its altar was magnificent. This town was really ancient but beautiful. Its view of the sea was amazing.

The Franciscan monastery in this location is a great historical heritage. I toured the location and was awed by the Renaissance cloister and the painting of Francesco de Santacroce that are there. I also learned that the location was a refugee center for Turkish people in the 15th Century.

The sponge museum in this location is quite an interesting destination. I toured the location and discovered that it was a collection of sponges that have occupied the island over the years. The sponges were collected by the traditional industry.

The visit to the museum was superb and we had the opportunity to see the amazing things that are at the museum. Named for its major opening it also the place also a great history that we enjoyed to learn about.

We visited the church and the monastery and it was fabulous. We loved the sight of the paintings and the amazing buildings that they have on them. Remarkable place that we all had the opportunity to visit.
