On the northern side of the cape of the island of Veli Shkolj, about 100 m from the coast, on a small plateau in front of which rises a cliff about 10 m high, at the position below Shkolj are the remains of an ancient shipwreck, but it is possible that there are more. Several boxes of sarcophagi with lids have been found on the surface, and they can be seen in the sand, which gives a special atmosphere while bathing or diving above this site.
