Tkalčićeva ulica
Tkalčićeva ulica glavno je zagrebačko središte kafića, restorana i ležernog noćnog života. Također poznat kao Tkalcha, sadrži desetke mjesta na kojima ćete pronaći nešto po svom ukusu.
Tkalčićeva je ispunjena životom. Brojni butici, tradicionalne trgovine, restorani, kafići i događaji na otvorenom ispunit će vam dan.
Nekada je to bio potok koji je dijelio dva najstarija zagrebačka naselja, Gradec i Kaptol. Zbog onečišćenja svih trgovina, tok je preusmjeren.
U razdoblju od 1899. do 1941. gotovo svaka kuća u Tkalčićevoj ulici bila je bordel. Budući da je u centru, svi prozori su morali imati neprozirno staklo i crvene lampione. Iz tog razloga, Zagreb je bio prvi grad u Europi s odgovarajućom četvrti crvenih svjetala.
Danas Tkalčićeva ulica nastavlja svoju stoljetnu tradiciju zagrebačkih obrtnika i trgovaca i jedna je od najatraktivnijih ulica u gradu.

I went walking on the historic street and loved the sight of side cafe's and colored houses, not forgetting the famous statue that amazed me.

The street is made up of a lot of things ranging from shops to buildings and other amenities. i visited the street and enjoyed how the street is pedestrian only and has many restaurants on the way which are lovely. I had the chance of having brunch at one of the restaurants and the dishes served were top notch. As i was on a walk at the street i also saw many businesses on the street that sold different types on an organised way. The night life of the street is totally unforgettable as went out sat night and it was mind blowing.

I took a nice stroll in the night and explored some of the wonderful cuisines prepared, and sat on the beautiful benches as i read my book. So much tranquility

This location is filled with life, with people going about their businesses. I loved waking through and observing the interior design of the cafes, clubs, and hotels.
