Temple of Augustus

Temple at the Forum dedicated to the Roma goddess and Emperor Augustus. Built between 2 BC and 14 AD, when Augustus passed away. The second twin temple, of which only the back wall has been preserved, is supposed to have been built at the same time and in the same style, and, according to lectures, is called the Temple of Diana.

We toured the temple and enjoyed the small museum and other sites. The sorrounding was impeccable and would recommend a visit.

The temple has a wonderful greek design, the exterior has fine finishing and very tall stone columns, i loved the museum and everything in it,

This is a small temple that has survived only from the outside. Parts of old statues remain inside, but it all looks like ruins. From the outside, the temple is more impressive
