St. John's Square is one of the most beautiful squares from the Renaissance-Baroque period, with a small octagonal church built in the late 17th century. The church was built in three different styles: Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque, which gives it a special charm and beautiful scenery. The square and the surrounding streets were formed from the 15th to the 18th century, and from an architectural point of view, next to the houses built between the 17th and 20th centuries, they represent the best preserved part of Jelsa and the island of Hvar.

Fascinating old town that we toured and were amazed by the beautiful architectural buildings around the landmarks. We loved the traditional songs sang by a local band and it was phenomenal.
