Church of Saint John the Baptist
The Church of St. John the Baptist in Shibenik was built in the 15th century as the church of St. Trinity. It was built in the Gothic-Renaissance style. Along the south side of the church is a staircase decorated with bas-relief, and it is the work of the famous Shibenik builder Ivan Pribislavich. At the foot of the bell tower is a Renaissance window, the work of Niccolo di Giovanni Fiorentino, and above the window is a relief with a lamb and an angel. The reliefs are masterpieces of Dalmatian medieval architecture. An Ottoman clock with one hand was built into the bell tower, which was brought here from Drnish after the Ottomans left it in the 18th century.

It was very relaxing just to sit outside and stare at the beautiful structure, ancient style of architecture is the best

It is a stunning building, with a rich history. We were able to observe all the areas of the church and various altars that had been added throughout the years. Our guide explained everything to us in detail...what each area was and how it reflected God's grace. It was an unbelievable experience and one I will never forget!

We visited the amazing church with properly decorated interior and altar that looked awesome. The tour around the church was rememberable.

I loved the colors of the church and how it blended in with the street and pavement, the inside was also peaceful and quiet great for meditation
