Cathedral of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary

Inside the city, along the main street leading from Flavijevska cesta to the Forum, there is a cathedral church. It was built on the site where Christians gathered even at the time of the persecution of the church. The church has been extended and expanded over the centuries, its present form has been preserved by extensions in the 17th century. Today it is the seat of the Bishop of Porech and Pula and the home of the remains of 5 saints housed in 5 sarcophagi.

The cathedral has a nice view. The bell tower is separated from the main church i got to climb up and take an awesome shot of the town and the sunset, the church houses the remains of some the saints too, awesome experience
