Zamask
It has been mentioned since 1177, when the Austrian-Venetian border used to pass in the middle of the settlement. In the north wall of the parish church of St. Michael there is a Glagolitic inscription from 1576. Below Zamask is the church of St. Mary Magdalene with wall paintings from 1400. and Glagolitic graffiti. Beautiful view of Motovun, Lake Butoniga and the whole of central Istria, during a clear day you can see the Slovenian Alps and the sea of western Istria
