Soboli is a smaller settlement within the municipality of Chavle in the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County.In Soboli there is a famous monument to the victims of Podhum. This impressive monument with 91 shields, as a memorial to the 91 inhabitants of the Podhum settlement, who were shot in July 1942, was erected in 1970, and was designed and built by the now deceased academic sculptor Šime Vulas.Sables is not a tourist developed area, but it can certainly boast of preserved nature, numerous roads that you can explore the area, and nearby is the village of Jelenje, which has many more facilities that will occupy you. From therapeutic riding, cycling to a tour of the Homeland Museum, the Heavenly Labyrinth or the Avenue of Love located along the river Sušica.
