Rakotule
Rakotule is a common name for several smaller villages and hamlets - a total of 12, in today's Karojba municipality, located north of the road leading from Karojba to Vishnjan. Rakotule was first mentioned in the 13th century. The Italian name Racotole di Montona gives us a close connection with nearby Motovun, which can be seen from here in several places.Today, these picturesque places surrounded by greenery are great for relaxing in nature, walking or cycling.
