Zigante Truffles
The Zigante company is located in Buje, Istria. Founded in 1992, it is run by the Zigante family. The history of the family is related to truffles, and they are especially proud that Giancarlo Zigante and his dog Diana found a white truffle weighing 1310 grams and thus entered the Guinness Book of Records. There are various truffle products on offer, and the family also runs a restaurant and is the organizer of the truffle fair. Apart from Buje, products can be bought in Zigante stores in Livade, Buzet, Motovun, Groznjan and Koper.

The fact that Giancarlo Zigante and his dog Diana found a white truffle weighing 1310 grams making it recorded in the Guinness book of records made me visit this place. It was so nice of them giving us a nice tour around the place and I was impressed by the sight of raw
truffles.

While travelling Croatia, we stopped here to have some truffles. we stayed at the hotel and the rooms were clean, spacious. In the morning, we were served with a very delicious breakfast. Will definitely come back for the white truffles.

It is a great hotel. The pool area is very nice, staff is friendly and the rooms are great (spacious and comfortable). In general, I loved my stay there!
