Tomic Winery is located in Jelsa on the island of Hvar. Winemaker Andro Tomic was learning vine growing and wine production at universities, institutes and wineries in France for twenty years. Eventually, he returned to his native Hvar and started producing his own wines, thus continuing the family tradition of 150 years. Today, the winery produces between 130,000 and 150,000 bottles of red, white and rosé wine a year.
The winery offers several variants of organized wine tasting and cellar tours, and even an ancient Roman feast in togas.
