OPG Kukec je obiteljsko poljoprivredno gospodarstvo iz Zagreba. Primarna djelatnost ovog imanja je pčelarstvo te izrada proizvoda od meda koje se zasniva na znanju i uspješnosti. Dugogodišnja tradicija, ljubav i briga o pčelama te pažljivo odabrana mjesta za ispašu (bogate netaknute livade, šume i voćnjaci ) su ključni sastojci za kvalitetu i izvrsnost meda. Zanimljivo, 50 000 pčela jednom posjetom donese 1 kg nektara odabrane biljke od kojeg kasnije proizvode med. OPG Oreč tako u ponudi ima nekoliko vrsta meda, propolisa, poklon paketa i mednih mješavina. Imaju vrhunski bagremov med, cvjetni med, kestenov med te bagremov med u saću.U poklon paketima nalaze se teglice s četiri vrste meda i bagremov med s plodovima. Medne mješavine izrađuju se s bagremovim medom i cimetom, kurkumom i koprivom. Medolješnjak je njihov novi namaz od meda i prženih lješnjaka. We toured the farm and the favourite place in the farm was the grazing fields( rich untouched meadows, forests and orchards) it depicts the beauty and magic of nature. The staff was charming and knowledgeable of bee keeping and different honey products production and were generous enough to educate us. Fellow beekeepers visit this place and learn more of quality honey production.

We were given the honey gift package which included jars with four types of honey and acacia honey with fruits to take back home. My family loved the package, we use the money to spread on the bread and other medical and cosmetic uses. Will come back again.

The farm boss took us to the tasting room where we tasted a variety of their honey and it was sweet and very tasty. We also bought some of the honey to take back home with us and feel the family farm love for honey production. Can't wait to be at home.
