Family farm Franko Vranic with a successful tradition for many years has located its native olive groves in Bajkini, not far from Vizinada. The primary activity of this family farm is olive growing, ie the production of top-quality, award-winning extra virgin olive oil. The olive groves number over 350 leccino and buža trees, and stretch over 5 hectares of native land. Olives are harvested by hand, grown and processed traditionally, their production is certified organic (without the addition of any pesticides), and the oil is cold pressed. Olives are harvested by hand in early October and processed on the same day to achieve a recognizable intense aroma of olives. You can buy and taste olive oils in specialized stores, and in direct agreement with the family farm.
