OPG Cossetta with a successful tradition since 2003 has located its native olive groves in Buje, in the heart of Istria. The primary activity of this family farm is olive growing, ie the production of top-quality, award-winning extra virgin olive oil. Olive groves stretch over 4 hectares of fertile land with a total of 450 trees with varieties such as Istrian bjelica, buza, frantoio and leccino. About 350 liters of pure oil are produced annually. Olives are grown and processed traditionally, their production is certified organic, without the addition of any pesticides, and the oil is cold pressed. We emphasize Cossetta oil of intense clear yellow-gold color, enriched with the scents of medicinal herbs, with a clear reminder of mint and rosemary. There is a very moderate bitterness and piquancy that end with notes of green almond. You can buy and taste olive oils in specialized stores, and in direct agreement with the family farm.
