OPG Antolcic is a family farm from Velika Gorica, not far from Zagreb. The primary activity of this farm is beekeeping and the production of honey products based on knowledge and success. Long tradition, love and care for bees and carefully selected places for grazing (rich untouched meadows, forests and orchards) are key ingredients for the quality and excellence of honey. Interestingly, 50,000 bees bring 1 kg of nectar from a selected plant in one visit, from which they later produce honey. OPG Antolcic thus offers seven types of honey; acacia, flower, chestnut, meadow, mint, amorphous and honeysuckle. For each of them during the year the bees move to the honey-bearing areas. Thus, acacia originates from forests around Vrbovec, to obtain chestnut honey bees collect nectar in chestnut forests near Petrinja, meadows Lonjsko polje are responsible for mint and amorphous honey, while honeydew, meadow and flower honey originate from forests and meadows throughout Turopolje. A special place is occupied by the line of honey-based products, ie honey with additives. Honey with chocolate, honey spread with hazelnuts, honey with cinnamon and orange peel, honey with orange, honey with lemon, honey with dried fruit and ice honey. You can buy and taste their honey and other products in direct agreement with the family farm, and through the web shop.
