The core of the then, original exhibition consisted of objects that arrived at the newly opened Museum, mostly as donations from famous families from Varazhdin.
The Varazdin City Museum is a place of (preserved), centuries-long, cultural and historical memory of the community in which it operates, where visitors are encouraged to learn something new, learn some interesting things or, simply, to spend their time pleasantly and well and - he wants to come by again.
