Trabacolos are large wooden ships that transported wine and sand. The port in Jesenice is known for a large number of moored Trabacolos. The tradition of making these ships is more than three centuries long, and today they are used for tourist purposes. Cruising the islands of central Dalmatia on a wooden trabacolo is an unforgettable experience and we definitely recommend it!
