Rab's Rector's Palace was built in the 13th century, but it actually got its recognizable and most significant structural parts during the 15th and 16th centuries. The Rector's Palace is located on the Municipium Arbe Square - that is, on its northwest side. The courtyard is dominated by a bulky tower containing beautiful elements of Gothic and Renaissance.
Today, the Rector's Palace has a different, repurposed role, and in the Rector's Palace there are numerous offices of the city administration of the city of Rab and the town hall.
