One of the most beautiful and most popular of Zadar’s beaches, located at the end of the eponymous promenade and stretching down its length. You’ll find all kinds of terrain here: pebbles, stones, gravel and fine gravel, rocks and concrete sections, adorned in places with stone embankments. Equally versatile is the sea bed, covered with pebbles and gravel, or stones, depending on where you are on the beach (and water footwear might be necessary for some parts).

While the sea comes in shallow making access easy, you’ll also find enough high rocks if you’re into recreational jumping. There’s some space assigned for beach volleyball, too.

Bordering the beach are Mediterranean trees offering plenty of shade. Coffee shops and restaurants are nearby, with one right on the promenade, making it convenient to take a short break and admire the view of the sea and its horizon over some drinks. The beach is equipped with toilets, showers and changing booths, and parking is available adjacent to the beach and the promenade.
