The museum was founded by Zagreb artists, film producer Olinka Vishtice and academic painter Drazhen Grubishich. The two were in a relationship from 1999 to 2003, and after they broke up they didn’t know what to do with all the things they had left after the relationship.
They were thinking about how to open a museum where all the objects could be placed. Three years later, Grubishich called Vishtica to remind her of the idea. After that conversation, they both began begging their friends to donate the items they had left after the severance of their ties, with which this unusual collection was born. It was shown for the first time in 2006 in the Glyptothek of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts as part of the 41st Zagreb Salon.
