The cemetery in Mirogoj Park is one of the most beautiful cemeteries in Europe. Mirogoj is not only the last resting place of the deceased, but also a beautiful park and open-air art gallery. It is also special in that all religions are respected here, not just Christian.
Renowned architect Herman Bollé designed the cemetery with its monumental composition, a 500-meter-long line of Neo-Renaissance arcades with 20 domes. This was one of the greatest projects of European historicism and a real gallery of works by Croatian painters, sculptors and craftsmen.

The cemetery is built on beautiful sculptures. Our tour to the great tombstone was much helpful in knowing the history of great rulers of the past.
