The magnificent old two-storey town hall, the Town Hall, just across the square from where the cathedral is, is worth a visit. Known for its beautiful large pillars, arches and fences, this superb example of Renaissance architecture dates from the mid-16th century and was built by the famous architect Michele Sanmicheli.
Although largely destroyed during the Allied air raid on Sibenik during World War II, the building was completely rebuilt according to original plans after the war.
