The Church of St. Aloysius Gonzaga in Popovaca was built from 1935 to 1938 according to the designs of the famous Croatian architect Stjepan Podhorski. The church is specific for the construction of the outer walls of irregular and roughly worked stone blocks, which give it a special look. In the interior, you can see beautiful altars, sculptures of St. Anne and St. Joachim, and the pulpit. The church is one of the valuable sacral monuments of the first half of the 20th century.
