This pebble and fine gravel beach in the center of Zadar has a lovely and mild sea access, suitable for children and elderly and adapted for wheelchair users. Parts of the beach have natural shade you can hide in during the sunniest of hours. While there’s no beach umbrella rental here you’ll be able to rent lounging chairs for the maximum of sunbathing comfort. There’s also a sunbathing lawn you can sunbathe on or just sit and enjoy conversation with friends or indulge in a good book.

If you want to be more active there’s a playground for children here, as well as volleyball and basketball courts. You can get coffee, drinks and snacks in bars and restaurants either adjacent to the beach or in the near vicinity.

The seabed here can get a bit rocky in places so you might need water shoes. The beach is also equipped with toilets and changing booths. You might want to take note that this is a popular beach that can get a bit crowded in the afternoon hours.
