The noble family of Ponte had their summer house in Mali Lukoran, where they came to spend beautiful summer days on the Croatian coast. The mansion is preserved in its original form, it also has a park. And according to rumors, the Croatian poet Petar Preradović courted the beautiful Countess Peoli de Ponte in that park and wrote her his famous vigil "Dawn is breaking, there will be days". Now that park is named after him and his monument has remained there.
