Every Dalmatian town has its famous staircase. Imotski has one, too - the staircase that connects the old part of town with the newly built of its parts. The staircase is ninety two stairs long and was built by the Venetians in the late eighteenth century. The top stair is located in the old part of the city called Bazan, and the last one in Stjepan Radić Street. The first of their platforms is adorned with a sculpture of Tin Ujević, one of the best and most beloved Croatian bohemians and poets.
