Along with Mlaka Park, Nikola Hosta Park is one of the oldest in Rijeka. It was created in the 19th century as a botanical garden next to Villa Androch, at a time when it was owned by Archduke Joseph, a great lover and connoisseur of garden art. Located on rocky terrain and on several levels, the park has achieved the appearance of English gardens with sculptures, fountains and exotic plants, which the Archduke procured from different parts of the world, which has been partially lost over time. The park was renovated in 2017 and its beauty adorns the view of the city.
