While located in the central part of the Barbariga’s coastline Marich beach remains a quiet beach devoid of summer crowds, wide and spacious with plenty of room for everyone. Its pebble and gravel terrain is comfortable for sunbathing, extending onto the seabed that might be slightly more rocky in places. The moment you need a break from swimming and sunbathing you can simply step under the trees and suspend your hammock in natural shade. Alternately, you can stop by for coffee or a snack at the beach bar and watch the locals’ small boats sail out to sea as you relax over a drink just a few feet away from the sea. If you’re up for a walk, there is an archaeological site in the vicinity of the beach where stone blocks used in ancient olive oil presses were found, along with the remains of a smaller settlement.
