The Kostajnica region abounds in sources of drinking water, and one of the most famous springs is certainly Tekija. This stone source of water was restored by the French during their four-year reign. On the stone wall is carved the saying "Drink, brother, by God's grace you have been given a drink!". This inscription is still visible on the stone wall of this water source.

The legend of Tekija says that whoever drinks water from Tekija once, always returns to Kostajnica. Therefore, we definitely recommend that you drink water at this spring, which is located in the city center between the parish church of St. Anthony of Padua and the remains of the church of St. Nicholas.
