Ika is a small suburb of Opatija, fully equipped with a beach and accompanying amenities.

In front of its pebbled section the sea is shallow and suitable for children. A part of the beach has been designed to serve as a small playground, as well. The other side of the beach is bordered by a concrete dock, used by the locals for docking smaller boats. Even though the beach has a cafe in its close vicinity (and showers and toilets available, too) it is rarely crowded. This makes it a great choice for anyone who wants to enjoy the benefits of a town beach in relative peace and quietness.
