The Croatian Museum of Naive Art is also popularly called the Peasant Art Gallery, as at that time naive artists were called peasant artists. The museum was opened to the public in 1952, when naive artists set out to provide a positive impact on the general public. Interestingly, this is the first such museum opened worldwide! Today, the museum's exhibition and holdings are very rich and you can enjoy more than 1,900 works of naive art, both by our and foreign authors. If you are a fan of this type of art, be sure to stop by this unique museum. The ticket is charged 20 kuna.
