The Church of the Holy Spirit in Shibenik is located in the old historic center of the city. It was built on the site of an older church, destroyed in a fire in the mid-15th century. Restoration of the church began in the late 16th century. The architecture is inspired by the Renaissance churches of Venice, although it was restored in the Baroque period. This is most evident by the semicircular gable with a rosette on the facade.
