The Church of St. Martin is the parish church of the Vrsar area and as such was completed in 1935.

It was built to replace the old church of the same name that wasn’t large enough to serve the needs of the parishioners. Its central nave has transverse aisles on each side.

The main altar used to be a stone altar until it was replaced with a wooden one adorned with a wooden statue of St. Martin.The stone statue of the Sacred Heart of Jesus that accompanied the previous stone altar has been moved to one of the aisles.

The interior of the church is additionally embellished with the statues of the Virgin Mary and St. Joseph, and St. Anthony of Padua, and paintings depicting St. Martin and St. Fosca.
