The river Cetina is the largest river, over 100 kilometers long, in the whole of central Dalmatia. With its magnificent canyon, it is definitely one of the most beautiful places to see in Croatia. In the last 20 years it has become one of the centers for rafting and kayaking on wild and calm waters. Cetina springs at an altitude of 385 meters, on the slopes of Mount Dinara, near the village of the same name Cetina. The river has eight springs, and the largest source is Lake Glavash, which is more than 130 meters deep. Above the river source, just a few hundred meters away, is a prehistoric cave called the Lord's Cave. It served as a habitat for people in different epochs. Both the banks of the river and the surrounding mountain slopes that surround it are very rich archaeological sites.
